518 Publishing Company is accepting short stories & poetry submissions for the 2025 Anthology, 'Catskill Chaos'
The theme for the anthology is chaos in the Catskill Mountains.
The Catskill Mountains is a mountain range located in Upstate New York and within the 518 area.
All submissions must align with the chaos in the Catskill Mountains theme.
Anticipated release of the anthology is Fall 2025
Submission Guidelines
1. Acceptable submissions:
a. (1) short story per submission (Maximum word count 5,000)
b. (3) poems per submission.
2. Submissions MUST be original unpublished works by the author. NO reprints.
3. Submissions MUST include the Catskill Chaos theme.
4. Any genre is acceptable except erotica or children's literature.
5. Submissions must be formatted as follows: .docx, doubled spaced, 1" margins, Times New Roman, and 12-point font.
6. Submissions must be emailed as an attachment to 518pub@gmail.com by March 31, 2025.
7. No identifying marks in the attached document are acceptable.
8. The document name should be the name of your submission.
9. Please include the short story/poetry title and page numbers in the header of the attachment.
10. In the body of the email, please include your name, author (penname), website, address, short story or poetry title, and word count.

Please note, 518 Publishing Company advocates for a thriving local literary scene.
Catskill Chaos will comprise of at least 51% written works from the New York capital (518 region). Authors from outside the 518 region are encouraged to submit.
If a submission is accepted and published in the Catskill Chaos anthology, the author will be paid a (1) time royalty fee of $5 Amazon gift card.
Submissions MUST be received no later than March 31, 2025 @ 11:59PM
518 Publishing Company LLC is seeking non-exclusive anthology and electronic/print rights for one year after publication/release of the anthology. If submission is accepted for publication, submissions cannot appear anywhere else for one year. After that year, the rights revert back to the author.
